The 7th information exchange meeting was held on the evening of 14th, 2016 inthe library in Tongji Zhejiang College. This was another communication platform for students and the college apart from the president lunch party. President Mr. Xiaolong Chen, Deputy President Prof. Dr. Ziping Huang, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice-president Mr. Xinmin Zhang, and Vice-president Mr. Yafu Zhou were present at the meeting. Responsible persons from all teaching units and departments were also present at the meeting, together with more than 200 students. The meeting was hosted by vice Party Secretary Mr. Ye Lin.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy President Prof. Dr. Ziping Huang gave a comprehensive report covering teaching, students work and campus construction. Details from major-transfer process to new construction projects in the school were all mentioned to propose guidance. In year 2017, the enrolled number of the students taking part in the postgraduate entrance examination is increasing. Innovation and entrepreneurship are all in hot development. When moving to the part of students raising question, many students proposed questions actively. From aspects of food safety, consuming level, library management, and deepening communication withTongjiUniversity, the students all express their ideas and expectation to the college leaders. All the leaders and responsible persons all reacted positively in details.
After the meeting, many students said that they were satisfied with the meeting, and they were given satisfactory answers in such good opportunities, and they could feel the sincerity of the college to care the future development of the students. They were also proud to be a member of this college, hoping this college could be run better and better.
President Xiaolong Chen made a summary for this information exchange meeting at the end. He said that the meeting was intended to let the students to know more about the school and share their ideas with the school to gain better communication between teachers and students as well as college and students.
