On Apr.2nd, party members from Party branch of Hongda Logistics of Tongji Zhejiang College made sweet green rice balls (Qing dumpling) to commemorate traditional festival of Tomb-sweeping Day. More than 40 teachers and staff took part in this activity. Canteen Staff became the teachers when they taught the teachers how to make green rice balls with rice, water, vegetable juice and filling stuff. Various shape of the rice balls were just all in the view.
Tomb-sweeping Day is the festival of thanksgiving. It is one of the four traditional festivals in China, together with the Dragon’s Festival, Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. This Qing dumpling is a special and seasonal food, expressing the missing to the dead and harmony with relatives and friends.
